Who logs a delivery?

Whoever takes it at the door, on their own phone in Muster Mate. There is nothing to type: a photo of the label is the log entry.

How does it know who the parcel is for?

The phone reads the name off the label and matches it to the crew list. You confirm with one tap. If the label has no crew name on it, the delivery is logged without one and, if the vessel wants, the whole crew is told.

Does the crew member get told?

Yes. A push to their phone with what arrived and the photo. Several parcels logged in the same minute arrive as one message, not five.

Where is the record kept?

Every delivery sits under its day in Muster Mate, with the label photo and who it was for, and in the admin panel alongside the visitor board.
