Is it certified training?
No. It’s onboard refreshers and familiarisation on your vessel’s own equipment and procedures. It does not replace STCW certificates.
Can we use our own procedures?
Yes. Give it your SOP or a few lines about the job and AI drafts the course. You read and change it before crew see it.
What do crew need?
Just Muster Mate, the free crew app, on the phone they already carry. It runs on iOS and Android.
Do you have ready-made courses?
Yes. There are courses on the Code of Safe Working Practices chapters and first aid written from NHS guidance. Add one to your vessel and edit it.
Can I make a course mandatory?
Yes. Give it a due date of one week, two weeks or 30 days. Crew get reminders as it comes due, and crew on leave aren’t chased.
How do I see who has done the training?
Each course shows who has finished, their scores and who hasn’t started. You also see how the crew answered every question.
