Muster and drills
Run a muster drill
from one iPad.
The muster list is built once and carried into every drill. The drill is called from who is actually on board.
The muster list, built once.
Station, role and equipment per crew member, per emergency type. Change it in the admin and the next drill uses it, without reprinting anything.
Their duties, on their own phone.
Each crew member sees their own station and duties in Muster Mate, with the alarm signal for each emergency. Nobody has to find the board in the passageway.
Muster Mate is on iOS and Android, on every plan, for every crew member.
Roll call, as the drill runs.
The muster starts from the crew board, not last month's crew list. Guests aboard are counted on the roster too.
Slide to start, then choose the emergency. If it is not a drill, say so on the same screen.
Crew are marked present or missing by department, with a running count and the time since the alarm. Filter to just the ones still unaccounted for.
Re-muster when the picture changes.
Three numbers sit across the top of the muster: your fire service, your Designated Person Ashore and your medical contact. One press dials, over the vessel's internet.
Call audio is captured in the session recording.
Sessions are recorded by default, and the vessel can turn that off. Log an event as it happens, either a quick action or a typed note.
The result is a timeline of the drill rather than a memory of it.
Abandon ship stations.
Lifeboats, liferafts and rescue boats on their own tab, with the side they sit on and the crew assigned to each.
What the drill leaves behind.
Every session is kept: who ran it, who was accounted for, how long it took, the events logged and the recording.
